Agricultural Direct Air Capture (AgDAC™) is IO Agri's award-winning, patented technology that transforms livestock emissions — a major source of agricultural greenhouse gases — into a valuable by-product for biogas and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) production.
What Does AgDAC™ Stand For?
AgDAC™ stands for Agricultural Direct Air Capture. It is a purpose-built system designed for farm environments, capturing emissions at source — directly from livestock housing and slurry management systems — before they enter the atmosphere.
How It Works
- Capture: AgDAC™ is installed within livestock housing or integrated with existing slurry and manure management infrastructure allowing emissions to be captured at source.
- Concentration: Captured emissions produce a high-quality biogas and SAF feedstock or an organic material for fertiliser.
- Conversion: The concentrated by product is fed into an anaerobic digestion (AD) system or directly into a SAF production pathway as an additive, significantly boosting biogas yield.
- Output: The process produces a by-product suitable for use as a high-value organic fertiliser, Sustainable Aviation Fuel or fertiliser.
